6.9 SIMPLE SKELETON
The idea behind skeletons is quite straight forward: a skeleton is a
simple object which is somehow connected to more complex object(s).
When the skeleton is modified, the target object is modified
accordingly. The fact that it is much easier to modify these skeletons
than actual (often very complex) target objects, makes the skeletons a
very powerful animation tool.
REAL 3D contains two skeleton types which differ from each other in the
way they manipulate target objects to make them match the skeleton
object. So, lets first create a SIMPLE SKELETON example and then have a
look how it works.
